Itineraries

DAY 1: ARRIVE IN KENYA

Arrive in Nairobi. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your accommodations for the night. Accommodations: Tribe Hotel

DAY 2: AT THE FEET OF MT. KILIMANJARO

This morning you will depart your hotel, arriving at Porini Camp before lunch. Following afternoon tea, you will be escorted on a walk by Maasai warriors to a village to get an insight into their fascinating culture and way of life. Then take a game drive in the conservancy followed by a sundowner at a scenic spot overlooking Mt. Kilimanjaro. Night game drive and return to camp for dinner. Accommodations: Amboseli Porini Camp

DAY 3: EXPLORE THE WILDERNESS

After an early breakfast, drive through the bush on our private track into Amboseli National Park for a full morning of game viewing. Following a picnic lunch in the park, return to Porini Camp later in the afternoon. In the evening you will go on a game drive in Selenkay Conservancy, stopping for a sundowner at a scenic viewpoint. Later on you will take a night game drive to look for nocturnal animals. Accommodations: Amboseli Porini Camp

DAY 4-5: RHINO SANCTUARY

Enjoy an early breakfast and then drive to the airstrip for the safari flight to Wilson Airport for your flight to Nanyuki, arriving just in time for lunch. You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to Porini Rhino Camp, located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, in the foothills of Mount Kenya. Lunch and afternoon tea in camp and then head off to look for rhino with your driver-guide in the camp’s 4×4 safari vehicle. Accommodations: Porini Rhino Camp

DAY 6-7: THE LEGENDARY MARA

Depart Porini Rhino Camp and fly from Nanyuki to the Mara. You will be met and transferred to Porini Mara Camp. After lunch and afternoon tea in camp, go on a game drive or escorted walk followed by a sundowner and night drive with spotlight. Return to Mara Porini Camp for dinner and your overnight stay. Accommodations: Mara Porini Camp

DAY 8: FAREWELL KENYA!

Enjoy a final early morning game drive. Later, depart to Nairobi’’s Wilson airport. You will be met and transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight out.

AMBOSELI PORINI CAMP

This award-winning safari camp is set in the Amboseli eco-system within the Selenkay Conservancy. The private conservation area ensures the best possible game viewing in proper off-road safari vehicles, off the beaten track and away from other tourist vans and minibuses.

MARA PORINI CAMP

The only safari camp set in Ol Kinyei Conservancy, hosting a wide variety of species including big cats, open plains, forests, rivers and stunning views. This exclusive setting provides the ultimate safari adventure in an unspoilt area, away from the crowds.

PORINI RHINO CAMP

This high-quality camp is located within Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The conservancy is home to a variety of animals including the “Big Five”. It is the largest sanctuary in East Africa for the endangered Black Rhino and is also a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees.

DAY 1: ARRIVE NAIROBI

On arrival in Nairobi, you will be met by an Alluring Africa representative and transferred to your hotel. Accommodations: Palacina Suites

DAY 2: NAIROBI/OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

Fly to Nanyuki and transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy – 90,000 acres of wilderness, offering an incredibly uncrowded environment to enjoy quality game viewing. Kicheche Laikipia Camp is a small luxurious tented camp, nestled at the foot of indigenous forest overlooking a waterhole. Accommodations: Kicheche Laikipia Camp

DAY 3: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

The Conservancy is home to Kenya’s largest population of Black Rhino, large numbers of elephant, cheetah, lion, leopard and plentiful plains game. There are also a number of rarer Northern species such as Grevys Zebra, Jacksons Hartebeest and Beisa Oryx. Choose from early morning and afternoon game drives, night drives, and interpretative game walks. Learn about the Lion Tracking program and Chimpanzee Sanctuary. DAY 4: OL PEJETA/MAASAI MARA

Fly to the Maasai Mara to Kicheche Valley Camp located within Naboisho (50,000 acre) Conservancy. This intimate, luxury camp consists of only six tented suites, ensuring a personal touch. Depart on an afternoon game drive in one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries on earth. Accommodations: Kicheche Valley Camp

DAY 5: MAASAI MARA

Rise early with tea or coffee brought to your tent. At dawn set off for another drive on the plains. Return to the camp for a leisurely breakfast. Afterwards, take an escorted walk around the camp grounds learning about the flora and medicinal uses of various shrubs and trees. Lunch and a chance to enjoy a siesta in one of the hammocks slung between the trees. Afternoon tea is followed by further game-viewing to sunset. Return to camp for an evening around the campfire. Accommodations: Kicheche Valley Camp

DAY 6: MAASAI MARA

This morning take an escorted game walk with one of our expert guides. The walk, which takes approximately 2 hours, offers another perspective in viewing the terrain and fauna whilst crossing the plains and traversing bushland in the surrounding areas. This afternoon you may wish to visit a traditional Maasai manyatta (village) or take another late afternoon game drive. Accommodations: Kicheche Valley Camp

DAY 7: MAASAI MARA

Continue your exploration with a full morning game drive with a picnic breakfast. On your afternoon game drive, enjoy one more spectacular African sunset before returning to camp. Accommodations: Kicheche Valley Camp

DAY 8: MAASAI MARA/NAIROBI/DEPART

Fly to Nairobi where a day room is reserved for your comfort before you transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
