Its name referencing the four large pools formed by the meanderings of the middle Zambezi, the Mana Pools National Park encompasses 2500sqkm of river frontage, islands, sandbanks and pools and offers a delightful setting in which to partake in their majestic appeal.
Surrounded by forests of mahogany, wild figs, ebonies and baobabs, the Mana Pools is both one of the least developed parks in South Africa as well as one of the most beautiful.
