Zambia's Luangwa House
Luangwa House
If you love the idea of a remote African safari but don’t want to stay in a camp with a lot of strangers, this is the place for you. Luangwa Safari House is, quite simply, one of the most stylish and luxurious pads in all Africa - perfect for families or groups of friends travelling together. Designed by Neil Rocher, the house sits on a private estate on the edge of the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. It sleeps eight in four large en-suite bedrooms and has a spectacular open-plan living area overlooking a plunge pool and private dining terrace.
With its own dedicated team of chefs, waiters and safari guides, the house offers five-star pampering and a guarantee of total privacy. The wooden terrace - with large dining table, leather sofa and hanging chair - is suspended between giant ebony trees. Beneath it is a seasonal lagoon where families of elephants come to bathe.
