From the Rwenzori National Park, well deserving of its World Heritage status, to the tropical lowland forests of Semliki National Park, Western Uganda offers its fair share of visual euphoria. However, the true gem of the region remains the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to more than half of the world’s mountain gorilla population, making it the quintessential Ugandan experience.
