Uganda's Kampala

Entebbe

The original capital of Uganda, Entebbe remains an integral hub of the country, as the international airport is located within its bounds. While many use Entebbe as a passageway into the many wonders of Uganda, the city itself deserves a bit of exploration.

Find wide boulevards lined with flowering trees and the colonial buildings that provide a bit of insight into the city’s past. Entebbe boasts a fine sampling of restaurants and bars, as well as an exquisite fruit and produce market and one of the few golf courses in the country. One of the city’s best highlights remains is expansive Botanical Gardens, encompassing more than 70 acres of well established century old gardens, while other treasures lay just outside the city bounds.
