Seychelles's Cerf Island Resort
Cerf Island Resort
Cerf Island Resort is a small luxury hotel located on Cerf Island's west coast. It is reached by a 15 minute boat ride from Mahe. The resort is built on the hillside above a sandy beach and is tucked into the lush vegetation. Views from the resort look across the sea to Mahe's east coast.
Just above the sandy beach there is a lovely swimming pool built into the rocks. A restaurant overlooks the sea and has been built around the granite boulders which rise up through the floor. There is a bar for lunchtime snacks which catches the sea breeze and white sandy beach with comfy sunloungers and a big takamaka tree which provides ample shade.
Small paths wind away from the main reception area and up through the trees. Here you will find 12 villas, divided into three different types - hillside villas, hideaway villas and tortoise suites. All are beautiful and have the same décor and style and all shady verandas. Inside the rooms have polished wooden floors, walk in wardrobes, fresh linens and every comfort. There is air-conditioning, satellite television and DVD player, mini-bar and living room with sofa and chairs. The en suite bathrooms are spacious with pale stone floors, twin basins, corner baths, showers and lots of fluffy towels.
