Rwanda
Let us introduce you to the Land of a Thousand Hills; a lush country of ceaseless mountains and spectacular scenery. This is Rwanda, a country composed of towering peaks abreast carpeted slopes. Naturally bounded by the picturesque Virunga Volcanoes at the borders of Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the captivating peaks of Rwanda offer not only the stunning topography to which the country owes its reputation, but also the premier habitat for almost half of the world’s last remaining mountain gorillas.
Beyond these peaks find the shimmering stage of Lake Kivu, concealing some of the finest inland beaches as well as their luxurious retreats, the pinnacle heights of the lush Parc National Nyungwe Forest, the largest montane forest in Central Africa, and the proudly rebuilding capital of Kigali, a city once brutalized, now evolving into one of the most sophisticated in Rwanda.
