Morocco's Mediterranean Coast

Mediterranean Coast

Extending for nearly 500km, Morocco’s Mediterranean Coast encompasses some of the country’s most memorable cities as well as the breathtaking scenery of the towering Rif Mountains. The beaches of the region are delightfully undeveloped, and the Rif Mountains themselves offer wild isolated adventure amidst this towering limestone mass.

The cities found within this region offer an intense introduction to Morocco indeed. Tangier teems with culture and history as it has long served as the meeting point of Europe and Africa. Tetouan, shadowed by the wild Rif Mountains, feels more Moroccan at heart, and is a glorious labyrinth, dotted with squares, souks and 15th century buildings, in which to discover the country’s colorful charm and history.
