Botswana's Northern Tuli Game Reserve
Northern Tuli Game Reserve
A long thin fringe of exquisite natural beauty forms Botswana’s southeastern frontier; it goes by the name of the majestic Tuli Block. An area of outstanding beauty, where imposing rocks, charismatic vegetation, abundant wildlife, prolific birdlife and rich archeological heritage, comprises the captivating Northern Tuli Game Reserve. Encompassing the Limpopo and Shashe rivers in the easternmost corner of Botswana, the Northern Tuli Game Reserve is a collective title including the Mashatu, Ntani and Tuli Game Reserves, and offers 300,000 hectares of privately owned conservation area, the largest area of its type on the continent.
Amidst its lands, primarily left unfenced, find lions, leopards, giraffes, spotted hyenas, bat eared foxes, aardwolves, cheetahs, kudu, Burchell’s zebras, bushbuck, baboons, and the ever enchanting concentration of elephant as seen within Mashatu Game Reserve, the largest elephant population found on private land in the world. Whether spying for aardvarks, spotted genets and civets in the reflection of the moon, or traversing the plains via mountain bike, the Northern Tuli Game Reserve promises to captivate every soul it touches.
